In spite of the fact that it was pretty remote and the road wasn’t the best, we saw a lot of stars at night and it was very calm + close to nature. The dinner was amazing and delicious.

They put so much effort into it, organized everything and really showed us authentically how they cook. Definitely can recommend taking the class there, they even gave us a small booklet with the recipes. They were also flexible as to our wishes (eg just vegetarian curries). The food we cooked was amazing! Also the price for it was great in comparison to other places. Loveliest hosts u had during my two weeks in Sri Lanka!

It is a huge beautiful building directly at the beach (a quite nice one) with 3 apartments. Our apartment was quite big with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big kitchen, a large living room and 2 big balconies. Everything is well equipped and you can easily spend several weeks here. It has a big pool, more than enough sunbeds and the beach is just out of the backside gate. There is 24h security on the property and free drinking water. The whole staff is exceptional (especially Rehan)! Everything is clean and well maintained. The location is also perfect as you have tons of nice restaurants at walking distance.

For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. wonderful stay, we were welcomed like family. very comfortable room with fan and air conditioning, large, in very good condition and large and very clean bathroom. Quiet place immersed in nature, pleasant swimming pool. perfect if you have a vehicle. otherwise the manager can take you to the bus stop by tuktuk, practical. The meals were excellent and plentiful especially the curry and Sriyani make also special dishes for my children.

Great location to silent beach and another nice beach close by. Nice to have cooking facilities. Clean and good facilities. Caretaker was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of good advice as to where to go.

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at Rock Violet Lakefront Cabanas & Restaurent. It was the nicest and cleanest place from all where we stayed during our trip in Sri Lanka! The room was big, with a large bed, AC and hot water. We had a nice terrace with garden view and we could also hear the waves, the beach is at 7 minutes walk. We could serve breakfast and dinner (but for extra charge) and the food was tasty!

Located in Kalametiya in the Hambantota District region and Gurupokuna Beach reachable within 1.5 km, Taragala Chalets provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. The location right next to the bird sanctuary is fabulous, and it is only a short walk to Taragala Rock, from here you have a perfect wiew of the whole area. The garden is an ideal place for watching birds of many kinds. Saman is very helpful, and he helped arranging a boat trip in the lagoon. The breakfast was very nice, and generous. The WiFi , aircondition, the shower all worked well. The bed was comfortable.
