One of the best places we’ve stayed in our 6 months of travelling! - The location of the hotel is remote, but very tranquil and beautiful. We loved the silence and the mesmerizing landscape. - The rooms are spacious and very clean! We felt incredibly comfortable and also enjoyed the big outdoor bathroom. The shower pressure was excellent, which is quite rare in Asia, and the water was hot. - The pool is beautiful, with a good temperature, and is cleaned very often. - Lastly, the man who was the only staff member on the ground when we visited, was so kind and welcoming. He cooked amazing food for us and always met us with a smile. We really enjoyed your company! All in all, our stay was an unforgettable experience and I’d recommend it to anyone who’s considering. Gayani and Neil were exceptional hosts - they helped us arrange private cars to visit Sigiriya, Polonnawura and Pidurangala, as well as a transfer from Dambulla to Kandy. The breakfast was delicious and prepared for whatever time we requested. Dinner is also available and is very tasty! The property is great value for money and even though it's on a main road and I could hear traffic from the room this didn't prevent me from sleeping. The property also has items for sale such as water and clothing appropriate for visiting temples. The pool is also very clean. Overall I would recommend this property as a good base for visiting nearby attractions/cities.

Walking distance to Pidurangala rock. Offered a night walk to view the Loris. Restaurant was lovely and food was fresh and delicious.

The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

Sri Dalada Maligawa is 29 km from the lodge, while Kandy Museum is 29 km away. I don't know where to begin.. I came here for 1 night to hike, stayed 3 nights and didn't do a single hike. It was too good to stay with Nero's family, volunteer there and at the pre school, share meals, meditate, go for walks, play with the kids... I have never felt more at home in Sri Lanka than here. If you go there, take your time, help around, enjoy real kindness and sharing. I can't thank you enough for my time at your place ❤️ This is a safe place to stay as a solo female traveler!

Great stay! Super comfortable, perfectly clean and In the perfect location for Sigiriya Rock - right around the corner. Incredibly kind family owners-I arrived super early having cycled there, they served me a delicious breakfast and got my room ready ASAP. Location is fab-you can enter Sigiriya rock via a back entrance (but it might be worth getting your entry ticket on your way to hotel as its a bit of a walk to the ticket office (inside the museum) once you are at the hotel. Easy walk into town/ restaurants. Room is basic but super clean,mini fridge, kettle provided and outdoor seating. All set in lovely garden.
