Location is very close to best hiking trails on Senja, of course if you travelling by car. Silvia and Thomas was very very welcoming. It was a pleasure to communicate with them. 100% recommend this Cabin.

The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware and there is a private bathroom with bathrobes and slippers. The accommodation is non-smoking. The setting was totally picturesque with views out over mountains and forests. The extra touches of recliner beds so you could get comfortable inside to watch the northern lights from the glass roof, and lots of choice of hot drink pods for the machine. They had really useful information inside to on local places to eat if you didn’t want to eat on site too. Then the hot tub was utterly define, and kept at temperature so you could you use whenever you felt the need

An oven, a microwave and stovetop are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. One of the best properties I have ever stayed. The cabins are overlooking the fjords and offers uninterrupted views. On clear days it can be spectacular. Kitchenette was well equipped with burner, oven, chimney & kettle. A perfect getaway in the tranquility of nature.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Fantastic location and we were lucky enough to have spectacular views of aurora borealis. We stayed in a lodge; this was a good size, really comfortable and it was nice to put a log fire on. Breakfast and meals were served in the main building... slippers provided. Staff were helpful and friendly, doing some extra 'gritting' on the path to make it easier to get luggage to the lodge.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. We stayed in the the Elva cabin which was delightful- cozy, comfortable, spacious and well thought out. the expansive windows gave us a relaxing view into the forest and the thrill of seeing dogs run by from time to time. Upstairs was a lovely nook. We ate every dinner on site (country style x2, fine dining x1) and the quality of food and service was exceptional. Really top notch. Johnny (Trasti) is highly visible and involved and really cares about his guests and makes everyone feel valued. Breakfast was great and lasted until 10, which allowed us to sleep in a bit. We also had pizza on Friday night and picked up things from the bakery on Saturday. the baked good were some of the best we’ve had. We loved our dog sledding as well- so much fun and incredibly lucky we got to go with Trine! What an experience! We wish we had booked another trip and also wished we had stayed longer. Huge perk as well was being able to visit the dogs throughout the day, even if not dog sledding. We will definitely be back. would recommend renting a car. taxis are very expensive and limited. It’s really easy to drive around and having a car gives you options to explore (like we did) things around the area.
