The appartement shows that the owners tried to create a comfortable appartement and it was outfitted with most of the things, especially tableware and sharp knifes (very common in other appartements that cutlery is not sharp anymore) needed for a stay, although they only invested little money (IKEA or IKEA like furniture, appliances not from respected brands). Sunlight and heat wasn't a problem during our summer stay since the sun barely shines into the small windows and most of the windows faced north or east. The beautiful kitchen oven is defunct. If You love agriculture and animals, then this is the perfect location for You since stables are next to the terrace and You can pretty well smell this. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful until a serious problem came up while the landlords where on vacation. The garden shown on the pictures is private property and wasn't accessible for us.

I was looking for somewhere to stay on my way to Vienna, that was a reasonably short drive away, so I could arrive refreshed. Landgasthof Hinterleithner was the right distance away, and looked like it would be in a nice location. I didn't have any particular expectations.
It turned out to be a fantastic restaurant, with some rooms. I think I was the only guest. The room was large, with a separate sitting area and a balcony looking over fields toward the Danube,with a small but good en-suite.
And the restaurant was excellent, although I needed some help with the menu. It was also very full - it's obviously a place that people travel to. Breakfast was also excellent.
As I have family in Vienna, I will remember Landgasthof Hinterleithner, and hope to stay again.

The owner was cheerful, property was cheaper than most others at shortnotice and she gave me a unused hall to store my bicycle inside overnight. The sheets and room were generally clean.

Very happy with almost everything about our stay.. but spoiled by communication with Werner.. who demanded I ordered something from the menu in German .. say it! Say it! Even though I am a non German speaking New Zealander. Spoiled an otherwise lovely stay. The younger members of staff and woman were all very helpful and pleasant. Werner did try to make amends later with Schnapps shots but damage was done.
