Absolutely everything was perfect! We had been on the mortorbike through some very cold weather…the ready-to-light fireplace was beautiful! Breakfast was catered for with a fully equipped kitchen. Electric blankets, secure parking, easy to find and close to all amenities. Wish we could’ve stayed another night! The town is very quaint, and everyone very welcoming! The views are amazing!

The Maid's Quarters is such a gorgeous cosy space, set in beautiful gardens and very close to the town centre. The hosts provided delicious breakfast and it was the perfect place to stay prior to starting the Overland Track.

The Master Suite and property was very impressive. The plan and decor of the suite was beautiful to say the least, exceptionally clean, modern and very homely. The breakfast was fantastic. Loved the afternoon apple cake and tea. Overall a real credit to the hosts. Definitely a stay next time at Tanglewood House.

We especially appreciated the host’s welcoming tour of the tiny place and also the location overlooking a tranquil farm with a herd of sheep grazing out the front. We also appreciated being able to cook a meal and slept very well in the comfortable loft.

Set in bushland about 10 minutes or so to the nearest town, Sheffield. Peacefulness, tranquil surroundings. The owners are updating/renovating the property. This was the perfect destination for me for this stay though I did hope for frost in the morning, but nature had other plans! (Cloud cover). The nearby O'Neils park and creek were a lovely place to wander. I had climbed up Mt Roland some years back and that track started by O'Neils creek/road.
