Very cosy apartment - more like a house, lovely sitting room with fireplace and upstairs bedrooms. The accomodation is in a secluded location but well located as it is very close to a good major road to explore the area (don't be discouraged, road noise is negligible if at all present) and close to a friendly village, and can also be combined as a base for visiting the nearby Sao Mamede park area in Portugal (the border is just a few minutes away). The garden and swimming pool area are great (unfortunately we visited out of season so still too chilly to swim), you wake up listening to all the birds. You can also have a walk in the wooded area which is part of the property, or start a hike directly from your doorstep. Very friendly host, went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. Recommended base for the area, lots of beautiful nature spots and prehistoric sites in the area and Caceres (should you wish to visit a city) just an hour away.

The breakfast was amazing, made with tipical Spanish food, we loved it (5 *).
The location is also perfect, where all the things happens in the heart of the "Pueblo". The owner and his team were very professionals and answered quickly in all that the guests asked for.
