The welcome by the host was extremely warm and friendly. The Posada had a touch of class about it. I was given a choice of the Lorca room or the Picasso room which tells you the ambience was very arty.

Awesome owners! They were always super helpful and friendly, they even gave us vegetables from their garden that were delicious.
The apartment has everything you may need, including A/C, a complete kitchen, washing machine, fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, cutlery, etc. It's very spacious, with a huge terrace and a balcony. The internet connection is pretty fast, we were working remotely for a couple of days, zero issues. Oh and you can park right at the door.
The town is small but it has a few grocery stores, many bars, a sports center, a nice boulevard, a beautiful park, a pharmacy, a bank, etc. In general, food and drinks in the places nearby were very affordable.
The place is pet friendly as the owners also have pets, but it was super clean. We were traveling with our small dog and he was instantly welcomed :)
In short, absolutely recommended!

Typical hilltop village in Extramadura. We stayed only one night as we travelled the length of Spain. Facilities were thoughtfully provided unlike the last hotel we stopped at. Parking was nearby but we could easily offload our bags outside the house
