The quiet and remote location was what we needed to relax and forget about the daily stress. The cottage was located just 1 min away from the super clean and serene lake Saima, and we went to swim every morning and evening. The water was cold but add sauna to the equation and you are guaranteed to LOVE it. ❤️ The cottage has everything you could ask for, we only forgot that the bed linen is not included. In any case we couldn't have carried it way over from Switzerland, so we rented it. You will also need to clean before departure, so don't make a mess 😁😄 It was not an issue for us anyway 😉 We really enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace, an opportunity to watch birds and just relax. If we knew how much we would love it, we would have stayed longer. We will be back! 😊

I really recommend this place for a quiet and cozy staying! The host is very friendly, available to meet the needs of the guests and ready to get hints. The accommodation is in the middle of the Finnish nature and just 20 min from Lappeenranta. I slept really well and blankets were perfuming of clean! Perfect for a stay in the nature, you can just walk around the property and join the forest atmosphere.

Very beautiful apartment with easy access to the lake Saimaa, a bit far away (approx 25 min to Lappenranta) but apart from that the owner was very nice and helpful. I wished we could have spent more than one day there.

Location, staff, cleanliness & facilities were all great! The room had a nice balcony and was dark enough. Nowadays the breakfasts have actual change with far more plant-based & options, not just leaflets on tables advertising as in the past, but real food option changes with it.
