Our room was great and had everything we needed. I loved the quirkiness, and steeped in history it was modernised and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff super helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely consider returning again soon.

Try the restaurant at the Mole and Badger, it may not look much at first but the food was brilliant. We wished we had, had longer to enjoy our meal! (Our commitments, no fault of the hotel) Lots of lovely looking pubs around. A great place for walking with or without dogs. I’ve stayed at the shard and the sunbourn yacht in London and the sanctum beats them both hands down in every way. Food was great staff went beyond and the room was amazing with a bath the size of a jacuzzi and a heated swimming pool outside. In a nutshell beautiful inside and out big grounds lovely food and staff!!

The lady who greeted us on arrival was very friendly, and made sure we had food and drinks which she delivered to our room (even though we had a late check-in). The food was also very nice. The room had a large TV with Netflix which we used and dressing gowns which was useful.
