The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. There are just six rooms and it was nice and quite. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

The atmosphere was very welcoming. The owner and staff were helpful nothing was too much trouble. There was a great choice for breakfast ranging from fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal to a full English. Gluten free was also available. Room and bathroom clean and tidy with tea making facilities. Car park on drive. I would stay again no problem.

Everything above expectations, nice touches like quality art on the walls, large good quality bathroom soaps, virtually new kitchen appliances and utensils. Soundproofing was good, I barely noticed the traffic noise from the A32.

Gosport is pleasant. The area around Spring Garden Lane Apartments has some lovely houses, a beautifully converted rail station, green open areas.
We ate at The New Benghal Indian restaurant. We also lunched at The Gosport Cafe. Both were very good.

The fun fare, archades, Fish n chips, nice ice cream shop on Lea in Solent and one stop shop near the Old Lodge hotel - excellent.
The toilets on the Lee on Solent need attention - for hand-washing, water was not working and there was no soap.

Great walk along sea front, lovely view over to the Isle of Wight. Watching the Sailing boats was very relaxing. Gosport town doesn’t have much to offer, but a ferry across to Gunwharf Keys, is a great idea.
Every thing went well The breakfast was excellent the staff bent over backwards in every way. All staff at the Hotel did every thing they could to oblige in all areas. Even to the point of seeing me off at the end of my stay I will use this Hotel when i visit Gosport again i would Recommend it to every one
The hotel is a stunning old building in a beautiful location. We had a sea view room which gave us a panoramic view of the ocean and surrounding trees. There was a roll top bath inside the windows which felt like absolute luxury. The room had such nice touches to the decoration, it really felt as though love and care had been put into everything. The staff were ever so welcoming too; couldn’t do enough for us. Our dogs were made to feel right at home.
The Alverbank Hotel is a spot with luxurious huge chambers in an quiet park, just a few minutes from the sea with a pebble beach. The view from the chamber was very nice, the sea framed with trees. The staff was very vriendly. Besides the weekend the restaurant is closed but there are plenty of options within reach. From Gosport a small ferry crosses to Portsmouth.
Nice hotel, in good location, free on street parking if your lucky enough to get close by.
Room was a bit shoddy in places (marks on the wall etc) but perfectly adequate and I had all I needed.
I actually enjoyed walking down the big spiral staircase, from third floor you can get up quite a momentum!
Good breakfast
The location was easy to find
Great for staying in Gosport, also visiting the surrounding areas
The terrace was perfect addition to the property
Lovely beds, T. V in every bedroom
Lots of different and really good extras left for us
The host was really great to deal with
My grandson loved the shower
Overall excellent experience. Our party occupied the entire hotel for Saturday evening dinner, overnight stay and breakfast the following morning. We had a good rapport with the owner who did a sterling job accommodating such a large group with varying wit!
It's a lovely little house on the main road, there was parking available, shops nearby and it's only a short drive to the beach or to Gosport ferry. The house was clean, comfortable and cosy. I really felt secure with the electronic door key.
Our stay at Spring Garden was fantastic, really lovely apartment. With everything you could need for a relaxing break.
Was a pleasure to meet Heather lovely lady with great stories to tell about the building and surrounding area.
Room was amazing, one of the most comfy beds i've been in for a while and i sleep in a lot of hotels/rental properties. Food across the road in the creek was very good and the staff where amazing from check in to check out
Pretty much the perfect stay in Gosport, close to where I needed to be, lovely people running the place, fantastic price, cosy room with everything I needed, continental breakfast. Will stay again when in Gosport!
It was a great welcome by Kirsty. The location was excellent, and the hotel was easy to find. There was off road parking for a number of cars, if the hotel had been full, then road parking would have been needed.
Very nice historic pub and hotel, good location not far from an excellent coastal park, great pub with excellent attentive staff, large comfortable room, very good bed, very good shower.
The receptionist (the only person we really interacted with) was a pleasure to speak to and a real credit to the hotel. The breakfast was lovely too and very good quality.
The breakfast and location were perfect. The hosts were lovely and I really enjoyed my stay there. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, simple stay in Gosport.
Very comfortable, and quiet. It suited my friend and I very well and was close my family Gosport. It was very nice having the welcome pack and toiletries.
