Excellent Hotel, in an unbeatable location, offering ample parking. Clean, comfortable, with fantastic staff giving excellent service. Delicious food. The breakfast is fabulous, with a variety of fruits, juices, cereals, cold cuts, and a selection of traditional cooked. My favourite Hotel in Weston-super-Mare. Highly recommended.

Whilst we didn't spend a large amount of time in Loxton (it was too wet for long walks) it was very easy to get to Cheddar, Weston Super Mare and other local towns. Average and my room was decent. Others were not. Mine had recently been refurbished with new carpets and wallpaper but the rest of the hotel was in need of some major TLC. Horrible old dusty carpets throughout, tiny rooms in the other building with no light and generally old and worn. Definitely wouldn’t pay £120 a night to stay here again. I would say more about the 60-80 mark is more suitable.

The location of the hotel benefits from being high up with far reaching views over Somerset countryside. However, although the hotel is warm, homely and quiet inside, the nearby M5 motorway is really noisy - so sitting on the terrace outside the bar is not as pleasant as you might think. Good hotel with lots of parking, the staff were lovely & helpful whenever we had a query, breakfast was nice with various choices, nice pool but the changing room was small for both men & women. Good location, a bit off the beaten track but that's its charm with cracking views. A hidden gem in Somerset. About an hour’s walk from the quaint medieval town of Axbridge and short drive from Cheddar and Clevedon. You have to be a walker and countryside person to enjoy this place!

I think it was an upgrade as the room I thought we’d get , but was unavailable. The size of the room was pretty spectacular . We didn’t try any breakfast or dinner. But did try a desert and that was very tasty and a huge portion too. We split it with my partner and it was still very filling even though I only ate a half. Staff were very friendly and kind.
