Ground floor room as requested, overlooking the courtyard. Perfectly adequate for the price. Good shower and handrails in the bathroom which proved useful. We had dinner on 3 nights which we enjoyed - good menu. Service was excellent, especially as big parties were in for 2 of those nights and the service staff had to go between rooms! Lovely views from front of hotel. We didn't use the extra facilities - spa, gym etc, so can't comment on those.

Whilst we didn't spend a large amount of time in Loxton (it was too wet for long walks) it was very easy to get to Cheddar, Weston Super Mare and other local towns. The Webbington Hotel's gym, pool and spa is recommended. Take a trip to Cheddar for the caves, walks a quaint shops as well as the pubs and restaurants

Average and my room was decent. Others were not.
Average and my room was decent. Others were not. Mine had recently been refurbished with new carpets and wallpaper but the rest of the hotel was in need of some major TLC. Horrible old dusty carpets throughout, tiny rooms in the other building with no light and generally old and worn. Definitely wouldn’t pay £120 a night to stay here again. I would say more about the 60-80 mark is more suitable.

The location of the hotel benefits from being high up with far reaching views over Somerset countryside. However, although the hotel is warm, homely and quiet inside, the nearby M5 motorway is really noisy - so sitting on the terrace outside the bar is not as pleasant as you might think.
There's plenty of parking though, and the staff were superb.

Good hotel with lots of parking, the staff were lovely & helpful whenever we had a query, breakfast was nice with various choices, nice pool but the changing room was small for both men & women. Good location, a bit off the beaten track but that's its charm with cracking views. The hotel is a bit dated but I'm sure this is in the process of being sorted in the future.I was clean & tidy & our double room was a decent size with en suite.

A hidden gem in Somerset.
A hidden gem in Somerset. About an hour’s walk from the quaint medieval town of Axbridge and short drive from Cheddar and Clevedon. You have to be a walker and countryside person to enjoy this place!
The hotel had been refurbished since our last visit and is now very modern and comfortable. The staff were professional and very friendly and helpful. We booked dinner reservations when we got there and the meal was excellent. Despite there being a large wedding party at the venue, it was not too noisy and we were able to use the spa and gym facilities. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay and next time hopefully the pool will be in use. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
We booked for post Christmas to new year break and loved the fact the hotel had a gym, pool and spa as well as New Years Eve meal and entertainment (which was obviously not included in the price). The staff, without exception, were friendly and courteous. We couldn't fault breakfast - and there were Vegan and Gluten Free options on offer if required. The gym, pool and spa were wonderful - just what was needed for a relaxing get away
Hotel was lovely with really clean rooms and some nice period features. The standard double room was a good size and the views from the pool, terrace and bar over the countryside were stunning.
The leisure club facilities were also really nice and a lovely relaxing added extra to the stay. When we were there plenty of availability when we needed too so we used the pool 3 times in our 2 night stay.
All the staff were friendly, polite and helpful and appeared to be cheerfully happy in their work.
The food, though limited in choice, was well prepared and tasty. I liked that the two vegetarian options on the dinner menu came before the meat options.
Lovely building in a delightful setting.
The staff were very accommodating in the hotel, and in the dining hall. Polite and sensitive to needs.
The lady in charge of the pool was a little presumptuous to our own knowledge of the facilities. The spa treatment staff were excellent in their knowledge and understanding of our needs.
Really good location, step outside and you can walk straight to crooks keep
Our room was big, clean and comfy.
Staff were brilliant, we stayed for our wedding anniversary & there was a card in our room on arrival.
Good variety of breakfast options.
Located in a convenient location near to where I was working the hotel has some lovely and very old features with spacious rooms. My room was in the older part of the hotel. Beds were comfortable and the room cosy warm.
Staff very pleasant, polite, friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet, clean, grand and in a great location - easy to reach, yet rural and quiet. Very comfy, rooms spacious and clean.
The breakfast was really nice with many hot items, even for vegeterains. The swimming pool and sauna was also nice, as were the grounds and location of the hotel.
