Harbour Hotel & Spa Richmond, hotel in Surbiton

An elegant Georgian country house, Harbour Hotel & Spa Richmond features an award-winning restaurant and free WiFi access. Next to scenic Richmond Park, it is a mile from Richmond Tube Station.

I think there should be two prices for the breakfast as I didn’t want a cooked breakfast and the price included it.

Lovely room, almost a suite. Warm and comfortable, with a nice bath. Food at dinner was excellent. We were spoiling ourselves, so the whole stay was expensive; but pretty good value at that.

We went with the family (without children) and we found some restaurants both to buy coffee and to have dinner. One restaurant I can definitely recommend is an Italian restaurant called Positano. The Service is excellent and the dishes are very delicious as well as the house specialties. Also, another restaurant for coffee that was perfect because it was open on holidays was the Black Swan.

Lots of reliable eating places within easy reach that cater for my wheat allergy, not least Naturally Chinese; my first Chinese meal in a decade! .Very close to the Thames. Also very close to London and Richmond upon Thames. Its possible to travel to Windsor from Richmond though I didn't have the time on this visit.

Great for walks along the river, shopping and days out to popular attractions for all ages such as Chessington or Hampton Court with very good transport links. There's a good mix of traditional pubs and/or restaurants among the usual high street takeaways which cater for all tastes including pizzas at the Black Lion

Unless you have business in this area it is not a place of interest to me. Limited parking and not a good choice of Restaurants. I literally stopped for one night and left, did not see much in the way of food but enjoyed a Polish Delicatessen.

Great quiet location to use as a stepping stone into London, Hampton Court and Kingston Upon Thames. Good pubs, restaurants and the river is a 10 minute walk. You can get on the water in a hire boat for £50. Parks, shopping and a few local markets.

Surbiton town is within walking distance to Kingston upon Thames city centre which is a beautiful buzzing town with shops and a market., also within a few minutes walk to the Queens promenade along the River Thames with many sightseeing boat rides available. Hampton court is also close by for a visit which is the historical castle where King Henry VIII lived. Many eateries, coffee shops and restaurants are close by. Had a lovely curry at The Thali in Surbiton. Locals are very friendly.

Helpful, friendly hosts that made us feel welcome. The house was spacious, warm and comfortable and the facilities were top of the range. There were some lovely touches like lots of refreshments and very well presented bedrooms with comfortable beds. There was more than enough space for our family of four and we all really enjoyed staying there. The location is very near to shops, restaurants and the station so it’s very quick in to central London. Really happy with our experience and would love to stay again.

We had a great time in the "House of fun". The owner Mark runs a public house that is open to everyone regardless of race, faith or gender. Mark, who calls himself the pole of the Black Lion, always keeps an eye on the needs and desires of his guests. The rooms are suitably furnished and thoroughly cleaned every day. Ideal location for tourists to visit the south west of London and to explore the local cuisine of Surbiton. We will come back- that's a promise, not a threat.

Management thoughtful of guest needs. Great location, very residential and safe, 5 mins walk to some local amenities and Surbiton Train Station which will take you straight into Waterloo Station in 20 mins. Modern and functional apartment. Large comfortable living room, full kitchen facilities -even a dishwasher !-, ample bedrooms with high quality bedding, modern bathrooms which were a pleasure to spend time in and a faultless WiFi.  Extremely clean, 100% recommend.

The location was super, very close to Surbiton train station, a black cab rank, buses, several supermarkets, a gym etc. The apartment was very spacious. It was quiet and had an outdoor space, and a parking space which for the price was great. There weren't enough forks for us or towels but when we told the owner/manager they did let us know where to find more and order extra forks - so some problems are resolved.

Early check-in was a bonus and good information was given on after-hours access. I think we had the smallest room but for a one-night stay it was adequate. No meal option for breakfast is available but there is a very good cafe over the road. It is a busy pub with live music on Saturday nights but as we both enjoy a beer no problem for us. Easy walk from Surbiton train station.

Everything was as described, very modern and clean. There was a grocery store around the corner as well, and very close to Surbiton station. They also left us snacks which was very nice of them, and we arrived to the house and it was spectacular. No complaints at all, this was much better than other Air Bnbs in the area. This is a must book location!
