The only positive side was the location as it was near to the place where we had to attend a function. Though the rate included complimentary breakfast there was nothing like that in the morning. When we specifically asked for it they prepared some dosa We asked them ti give at least an omelette they gave it but charged for it. Never ever recommend this property.

Unni and his family were so nice and welcoming!! They shared amazing stories with us which gave as such an amazing insight into their life in Kerala!
The homecooked food was delicious and plentiful!!
The sunrise boat tour was incredible - a million times nicer than in the backwaters of kochi or alleppey

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Chromide Homestay. We were warmly welcomed by the host family😊🌸 We immediately felt at home. The room was very large and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the river was a dream. The family looked after us very lovingly and supported and helped us with our plans. We really enjoyed talking to the family🥰The food was fabulous and the view of the river was wonderful. We will definitely come back and can recommend this accommodation to everyone. Comfortable, clean and colourful room. The staff are very friendly and helped to organise transport, as well as a tour of Munroe Island - which was a great morning out. Homestay is in a really peaceful location by the lake.
