This is a magnificent property, looks like it's rich in history and well maintained. Everything is orderly and clean. The bedding was better than average, very comfortable. The pool area was lovely, clean and very quiet.

The location is amazing. The view is never ending and both sunrise and sunset were magical.
The bed/mattress was really comfy. Breakfast on the veranda, lots of choice, we spoke a little Portuguese and made the staff laugh with our efforts but they appreciated this and in return spoke really great English, they made us feel welcome and gave us advice on where to go and showed us shortcuts around the grounds.
The swimming pool blew my mind. The view from here is also etched into my memory.
20 mins drive from Do Pincho waterfall.
The cable car into town and back.
The church. Wow. The view. Wow again.

The terrace was nice with a partial sea view. It was also a useful base for exploring up and down the coast and the Lima valley. Filipa, in reception, could not have been more helpful - replacing broken toaster and missing hairdryer and kitchen knives. The pool looked nice but it was very noisy, occupied by a family who rented several apartments, so we did not use.CarolineUnited Kingdom

Building itself has so much history, located almost in the centre of Afife, view of the surf from most of the property and 360 degree views from the top terrace of an already incredible place. My second stay here, Andréia and Fernando are fantastic also. One of my favourite places in portugal

The accommodation is nicely done up, lots of flowers, and the pool is great. Also, I appreciated that there was salt, pepper, oil, and even handwash or washing-up liquid. He drove us to the town of Afife to get groceries, and then again in the morning to catch a train. Very quiet location as it is away from the village and the highway. We had access to the kitchen to prepare our meals and shared them with other couples that were also staying that night.
