Alcáçovas is a small but lovely village in central Alentejo.

Alcáçovas is a small but lovely village in central Alentejo. It has everything you need for a small trip or even a longer more relaxing stay. There are a handful of restaurants in the village and the public swimming pool is beautiful with an amazing view over the valley. In this part of Alentejo, we like to go to enjoy some relaxing time. We take loads of books with us and just enjoy the silence. We do recommend having a car to hop from place to place because there are plenty of spots worth a visit (restaurants, vineyards, etc)
