The breakfast was wonderful! There was a selection of fruit, overnight oats, muesli with different things to add (nuts etc) and a wide selection of delicious jams, plus eggs cooked to order. The breakfast room is also a shared sitting area with views towards the ocean one way, and the Pico volcano the other. The room was large and bright, and very comfortable.
Alma do Pico - Nature Residence has an outdoor swimming pool with stunning views over Faial Island and the surroundings. The unit is in Pico Island and has views over the famed Pico Mountain.

The entire experience from the first to the last minute was absolutely incredible. The house is beautiful and with a super cosy decor. Not to mention the huge garden that brings us peace and takes us into the middle of nature (you can even relax in a hammock!!). During our stay, we had a 30th anniversary and the accommodation offered us a (huge) cake and sparkling wine. All these treats make a difference and raise our expectations compared to other places.

Very nicely decorated two-floor apartment, friendly staff (especially Anna) who explained us everything and gave us a lot of recommendations what to do on Pico Island. The apartment is also very close to the sea and has an outdoor terrace. Definitely recommended to have a sea view apartment and a rental car.

The location is great. Near the airport and the Vineyards (Unesco’s World heritage). The little house made of volcanic stones made me feel at home immediately. It is small but offers everything you need. And the host is very kind and thoughtful. He welcomed me with a basket full of everything you need for breakfast, wine and fruit.
