Amazing place to stay very close to the Caminho de Santiago. Miguel met us on arrival and was delightful. He gave us some of his estates wine which was delicious and supplied us with some provisions as it was Sunday afternoon and nearby restaurants were closed. The only problem was leaving this beautiful place to continue our Caminho but I’m sure we’ll be back for a longer stay.

The location is stunning, with a view to eternity from the villa's mountainside position. It was a bit of a maze to find our way in at first but we quickly got used to the steep and twisting little roads. Arriving makes it all worth it. The villa is secluded with beautiful gardens, fruit trees and flowers. The pool is very private and there is a BBQ. The church bells ringing down in the valley all add to the ambiance. We found several lovely walks up and around and in the forests. The owner was very kind and helpful (those cherries were delicious Rui, thank you!)

A very peaceful stay. Lovely view from the pool area and nice communal dining area. Lots of areas to explore around the farm. The room was very comfortable. Miguel was very helpful and welcoming.
