Beautifully restored convent building, peaceful grounds and a large pool. Just right for us having a one night stopover on a cycle trip from Malaga to Lisbon.
Friendly staff, great food, for evening meal and a substantial breakfast. Comfy quiet rooms, with good en-suites .
Thanks for a lovely stay, and the complimentary glass of Port on arrival was a nice touch 😀

Lovely small hotel in the middle of Beja, a location which made getting about easy. The breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice with foods typical to the region. Very, very friendly people (in fact, some of whom are the owners themselves) and all are really helpful. We would stay again without a doubt.

The place is full of character. We were the only residents on the night we visited so we had the whole house to ourselves. Lots of drinks to choose from which you can just pay for before you leave.

Beja is a wonderful city with the modern juxtaposed with the very old. It is nice to walk the old curving narrow streets of the old part of the city. The people make it great as they are open, warm and gracious. Many people speak English.

I strongly advice going to "Adega 25 Abril" restaurant, very nice staff and good food at suitable prices.
Do not go to "Taberna a Pipa". Awfull service, did not attend us at all, regardless of the small children within our group. They had an available table that was suposed to be for us, but did not prepar it or allow us to seat and order something for the children. We ended going to other restaurant.
Located on the outskirts of Beija, which is great if you drive in, if not it's a 30-minute walk into town. Large balcony overlooking well-manicured gardens and pool, which make for a good place to lounge. Wifi is strong and reaches the pol/garden area. Breakfast was copious and of good quality, and the on-site restaurant offers decent food albeit from a limited menu. Beds are comfy. Hotel is decorated with a collection of beautiful paintings, by local artists from what I gather given the distinct Alentejano landscapes pictured in them.
We were warmly greeted by Marianna to this perfect guest house located next to the foot of Beja Castle. The decor and architectural design as well as the inviting garden and delicious, fresh breakfast were absolutely wonderful. The location could not have been better! We also so enjoyed meeting Sara and listening to her story of the history of this home. What a lovely gift this stay was for us!
This place is incredible ! If you look for a very nice place to stay in Beja, well located, clean, confortable, with a very good breakfast, that's the place. The owner is really nice and really take care of you. The decoration of the rooms and common rooms are amazing, everything is like in roman time. It's so different of other guesthouses.

The entire apartment is wonderful. It is located at the heart of Beja, immersed in the historic town. You can walk around the old town to see the main sights. The apartment is big enough to host a family of three, very comfortable and lovely furniture mixing new and old styles.
Great place to stay and explore the city of Beja. You're in the centre and have easy access to all museums and things to see and do. The owner is very kind and accomodating and the place itself is already a little museum! I would certainly recommend it to others.
The hotel is in a charming location with a super-friendly family and staff attending to you. The breakfast is an amazing array of different foods. We were welcomed by the host when we arrived and he gave us a tour of the property which has so much character.
The space itself was amazing, and the amenities perfect for an extended stay. The only thing that could use improvement were the beds, but they were acceptable for a two-bed room. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill stay in Beja.
We very much liked the Style and Cosiness of the Location in the Heart of the old City. It brought back a lot of memories having been there more than 32 years ago. Beja is a old town with a young esprit. Thank you, Joanna
Beja is a bit off the usual tourist routes. This hotel is in a beautiful old church/monastery. Breakfast was lovely and the staff very helpful. And, there’s free parking on site.
Lovely Clean hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Would highly recommend a visit to Beja.
Huge balcony, no view, but nice to sit outside
