We had a fantastic stay! The location is beautiful and peaceful , with amazing views of the ocean.
The breakfast was exceptional and plentiful and we ate a delicious evening meal cooked by our friendly host every night. Would highly recommend.

Everything was just perfect! Nice interior to feel cozy and comfortable even in November, we really appreciated the candles :)
Kitchen has everything you need and the Beds are comfortable.
The shower has a very nice water pressure and everything is very clean.
The location is at a Fajã, and thus a little remote- you need a car to come there but you need a car on São Jorge nonetheless.
The host gives you great tips on what to do and is very nice and helpful!
If we ever come back to São Jorge, we know where to stay!

We had a superb light, bright unit - one of the ones higher up at the back that have views of the mountains, the vineyard and ocean. The owner is really friendly, but very busy running the place, so catch him when you can for local info. He keeps the place rustic and charming and it feels peaceful and private. The property is well placed in the middle of the island for all the sights and a handful of nearby restaurants do good local food. We sadly had a lot of bad weather but the big view at least meant we could watch the drama unfold! The airport is very close by if you are flying. To sum up: a lovely rural place to stay and great value too.

The property is in a beautiful location which overlooks the ocean, you can see Pico from the viewing deck. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the staff are so friendly and they offer a great breakfast!

Amazing, new Apartment with everything you need for a few nights. Looks just like in the pictures. We stayed here for three days to discover Sao Jorge Island and it was just perfect. Joselina is a great host and helped us with infos and suggestions on what to do.

Stunning place, perfect for a break away from the city. The hiking trails are nice, and you can witness both sunset and sunrise. No cars are allowed, so it's very quiet and peaceful. For those that like surfing, it offers good surfing, You can also kayak, SUP and so on! There are a couple of waterfalls nearby.
It is quite isolated, with no cash machines and limited offers for food and drinks, but it is fine!
Getting there can be a bit expensive. Get a taxi to the top of the mountain and hike down for a better experience. Or take a taxi to the Fajã dos Cubres, about a 5km hike away, which is also gorgeous.

Definitely stay more than one day, and do trail down stay for a few days (if you love peace and quite) and exit by completing the trail until Fajã dos Cubres.
