we had a wonderful stay here at Quinta Riberiinha. The location is gorgeous overlooking the river. It was so quiet and peaceful - just what we were after. Shumara, our host was just lovely - she was helpful and checked in with us throughout the stay - a lovely woman. Goncalo was brilliant as well, making sure everything was in place for us. I would highly recommend going to visit Queda De Agua Do Ribeiro De Sampaio. This is the most gorgeous waterfall with natural pool, perfect for a swim. The place is just magical. Its only a short drive from the accommodation. The nearest town is Can Faes - a 10 minute drive away. We ate lunch at The Petiscaria Duoro Bar where they serve fresh river fish, traditional Portuguese food and delicious locally produced wine. They were friendly and welcoming there. We hired our car from Europa in Porto. Great value as well.

It was such a lovely place with the most beautiful view and managed by a super kind and friendly family. The room had a wonderful view on the mountain and the pool was amazing. We were even asked about the breakfast time if it fits our time. Also the breakfast was delicious and Portuguese style. Thank you so much!

Good location as a starting point to explore the area. The breakfast and service were very good.
