It is located in a peaceful area, exactly what we were looking for. The house had everything we needed and although we went during winter it was incredible, to wake up with the sound of the river is really amazing. Perfect to feel connected to nature. Elisa was amazing during the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here especially as we arrived very wet and cold after cycling here from Trancoso. Thelma gave us a warm welcome and told us the story of Lapa which we then enjoyed exploring the next day. The room was very stylish, comfortable and warm. The shared bathroom was very clean and the shower was hot. We had a good breakfast in the communal kitchen and felt very ' at home'. The village is lovely and interesting, especially the church which is built onto a cave. We bought some local cheese in the shop and it was delicious- very creamy. Definitely a good visit despite cold, wet weather which is normal at this time of year and because Lapa itself is high in the hills.

This traditional farm includes a restaurant and an outdoor pool. The Quinta de Santo Estevâo is located less than 500 metres from N229, giving access to Viseu in 51 minutes’ driving.

Moinho d'Antoninha is a magical place, but what really made our stay phenomenal were the managers Bruno and Sónia. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They recommended places to visit and fabulous restaurants to eat. They are the reason that we decided to stay an extra night and will consider staying there again in the future.

This was my second time at Quinta do Lameiro, so I already knew what to expect. However, the last time there was no pool in the Bungalows area. Now that there is, it's an advantage. Two pools with different depths. Terrific addition!

We only spent one night in the cabin and definitely will be back. The place is a real remote escape. The sound of the river, next to it. Just a perfect place to relax. Don't forget to bring yoga mattresses to enjoy the view while practicing yoga. The breakfast is a very nice bonus. We had everything we needed. Thank you, exceptional hospitality.
