I don’t think I have ever had such an immaculate room in all our numerous hotel stays. Superb is all I can say
Extremely comfortable super towels and hostess tray. There is even a fly screen on the balcony door
Highly recommended

It was a lovely stay and we were so lucky to have had the Seaview. We had the balcony door open all night and slept to the sound of the waves. The bed was huge and super comfortable.
Staff were really nice

Very large house, pictures didn't do it justice. Great facilities for cooking and washing clothes. Great value as well.
Lovely private outdoor area to relax. Not far from Porto moniz for the pools, and a nice bar down the road for the best poncha in Madeira and close to the levada walk

I liked the great view to the ocean and parking space underground, but it’s very hard to open the garage sliding door. A washing machine with soap and a clothes hanger to dry your clothes on the balcony. Air conditioning.

Loved the sea pools, with cafe for after swim drinks. and the peaceful evening walks. Easy to catch a bus further afield. Harder to get to levada walks than I expected, and I would avoid the ones that come back down steep hills to coast - rough and dangerous surfaces

This is not a sand beach vacation.
This is not a sand beach vacation. There are tidal pools to swim in if the weather cooperates. Be aware that the north side of the island is cooler and more likely to rain. We enjoyed our 2 night stay by the ocean but that was enough

Very good base to explore north-west side of the island
Nice option if you want to cool down in the pool-there are actually 2 spots with ocean water, one more natural than the other, both can have better tourism services and catering options

A beautiful little town with the most beautiful swimming in Madeira in natural pools with sea water and sea fish. Protected from the waves and great for bathing and swimming, in a beautiful wild nature surrounded by rocks. Everything is close by car, the most beautiful levadas, the Fanal forest. Really spend more days.

We were driving around Madeira Island for 8 days & Porto Moniz was 1 of the most scenic area, beautiful rocky formations with the natural pools. We only stayed overnight, but wished we could have spent more time here, experience swimming the natural pools. Beautiful instamagramable picturisque views. We highly recommend Porto Moniz.

Porto Moniz is a tourist town in the far north of Madeira.
Porto Moniz is a tourist town in the far north of Madeira.
the ocean view is amazing.
The city has both natural and paid natural pools, where the only option is to swim.
if you are a fish lover, there are really many good restaurants in this city.
for us, the tastiest fish was Espada.
It is also a great place to visit the Fanal forest, the Telegrafico gondola and the Rabacal area.
for us, who are fans of bends, steep roads, beautiful nature and of course the sea, this part of the island was the most beautiful.
The place is clean in front of the ocean and the natural pools (don’t miss them during the sunset).
Very nice balcony in front of the blue.
The city is small and you can reach any place by walking. Free parking in the night up to 12 am (perfect if you stay there just one night).
Tony is a very nice person, he does anything by himself and he makes you feeling at home.
Great choice to enjoy Porto Moniz, maybe one of the best nights I can remember during our holiday in Madeira.
Casa das Escaleiras offers a truly exceptional 180° ocean view and is located in a privileged position overlooking the lovely town of Porto Moniz. It's a modern house totally rebuilt instead of an old dwelling, whose nude stone walls have been integrated cleverly into the cosy bedroom with wooden ceiling. The house is fully equipped (even a separate barbecue room and a swimming pool are awaiting you) and uses solar energy.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Welcoming drinks at the arrival, sparkling wine at the room. Spacious room with huge bed and even bigger pillows. Free access to the natural pools. As pools were too cold for us, we enjoyed the jacuzzi zone on the hotel roof. Breakfast was nice, with many fruit options and a nice view. Good value for money.
Aqua Natura Bay was the perfect choice for our family holidays. We planned a family vacation combining beach, sightseeing and nature and Aqua Natura Bay was the best choice as the family base: the size of our room was very good for a family of 5, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good.
We will definitely return.
big space
location
washing machine
sweet cookies gift from owner

We were at four different apartments/ hotels and this is the N1! Worth for the money.
The location is excellent. 25 m distance to Porto Moniz Natural Pools and the ocean. We kept windows open in order to enjoy the ocean sounds during the night.
There is pay-based parking close to the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and made an effort to accommodate special dietary restrictions.
The gentleman running the hotel was really kind and sweet, you can tell he really cares about the place. The location in the town was perfect, with great views of the mountain and ocean. the room was super clean and seemed newly renovated. For the value, the room really exceeded my expectations.
Absolutely amazing view from the balcony. Best of the best. Will remember for a long time. Room was nice and comfortable. Tasty breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. We are very satisfied. It was our best hotel during our stay in Madeira.
Best place to stay in Porto Moniz. It’s a newly built apartment facility added to the hotel chain in July this year and you can tell. Everything looks new, it’s well designed and very comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent.
It is a good location to explore the north of Madeira. Some shops and restaurants are available close to the apartments. We really liked the garden and the shared living room. Nice to have breakfast. Good value for money.
We had a great two nights stay as part of our tour of Madeira Island. The hotel was great, very well situated in Porto Moniz. The parking and indoor pool were a real plus that made our stay easy and comfortable.
It's a spacious, clean and well equipped apartment. Location is excellent - very central to all Porto Moniz attractions, restaurants, hiking routes etc.
Great base to explore the north of Madeira.
The attention to detail and comfort is outstanding. It’s like a luxury five star hotel inside a cozy, local cottage. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
