Located on a stretch of land between the Atlantic Ocean and the Sado River, in Tróia Peninsula, this hotel is set in a protected natural reserve. It features an outdoor pool and private beach area. .The staff is amazing. We loved the place and the privacy, I can't say enough about how great the staff team is, it makes places like this bloom and more enjoyable.

We discovered this is a resort season and most of the area and buildings are empty/closed in offseason, which apparently mid-October is. Our apartment, F31, was in very poor condition in terms of maintenance. For example the tv, Wi-Fi, security shutters, lock to balcony, shower water pressure were all non functioning. There is a longer list the the building (which was empty except for us) maintenance man now has. He expressed frustration that housekeeping had not made him aware. The apartment is cute, and had it functioned properly, would have been ok. As it was, we left, forfeiting the room fee. Reception told us they felt bad but that only Booking.com could issue a refund. We are now waiting 3 days for a response.

Lovely and peaceful.
Lovely and peaceful. Great for sea activities, walking and cycling. Maybe a bit too quite for some but there is always Setubal just a short ferry crossing away. Great restaurants in Troia and also in Comporta.

Troia has a fantastic beach. Incredible facilities and a great natural environment where the whole resort is integrated. A bit too family oriented for my taste, depending on what hotel or apartment you stayed in. This place is very quiet and peaceful off season, but much more lively in the Summer months. Needs a nightclub desperately! I also love that Troia is so close to the great trendy village of Comporta and the fabulous beaches of Melides and beyond.

We loved the lime green car ferry trip as the start to exploring Troia. The harbour front was good for eating out, and Comporta for it's relaxed Ibiza vibe. The beaches were glorious but of course the Atlantic Ocean was freezing!

Very calm and relaxing, never ending beach, walking circuits, excellent for a relaxing weekend or vacation. Restaurants a bit crowdy but not too expensive and good seafood available. Only the cement plan across the river estuary doesn't look good on the photos, but you just have to ignore it.

It was an ok resort but could have been anywhere in the world .Modern apartment posh walk in shower impressive until you opened shower door,flooded whole bathroom!! Bit of design fault! But hey ho we were on holiday !!

If you travel without little children this hotel is nice and quite modern. Good location right in marina , close to the restaurants and ferry. Stuff is very friendly and helpful, we were given an accommodation with stairs which is not very safe for a family with a toddler and we were able to change for another accommodation without any problem.

The location was great, walking distance to everything in town. I loved that even though it's a touristic location, most guests at the hotel (and in Troia in general) were mostly Portuguese so you get really submerged in the local holiday lifestyle.

The location is phenomenal! There's a private beach and a swimming pool, if you're looking for the ocean, you only need to drive a couple minutes to Comporta beach. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed.
