We really enjoyed our stay here especially as we arrived very wet and cold after cycling here from Trancoso. Thelma gave us a warm welcome and told us the story of Lapa which we then enjoyed exploring the next day. The room was very stylish, comfortable and warm. The shared bathroom was very clean and the shower was hot. We had a good breakfast in the communal kitchen and felt very ' at home'. The village is lovely and interesting, especially the church which is built onto a cave. We bought some local cheese in the shop and it was delicious- very creamy.
Definitely a good visit despite cold, wet weather which is normal at this time of year and because Lapa itself is high in the hills.
