While the apartment is next to road, it was very quiet at night. The apartment is comfortable, clean and tidy. It is easy to collect key from the key box. Kitchen is fully equipped. It is a little cold due to mountainous location. However, there is enough blanket and warmer if required. It has a very good location to stay if you travel in this area. Lovely hotel, loved the decor. Helpful, friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a good spread, with a good coffee choice. From the room I could see the Serra de Estrela. The hotel is right in center of the town, easy to walk to shops, bars etc.

Host was fantastic, gave great advise on places to eat in evening and how to get to the mountain. Host at breakfast was also very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Room was really lovely as was communal areas. They allowed us to park our motorbikes in lockup garage.
