We had everything we needed in the kitchen for simple cooking, and the place is equipped with a washer/dryer combo machine which is a must when you have young kids. The bathroom was a comfortably good size for a family of 4. The garden and outdoor seating area with a pond of pretty fish was a pleasure for our kids. Our lovely and very helpful host, Jonathan, was so kind to let our son feed the fish too! The location was great, offering tranquility for the evenings and perfect for sightseeing as it is close to Ekerö and Bromma for trips to Stockholm via public ferry/train/bus. It is also very close to good hiking spots! We have good friends in Sweden so we will definitely keep this address for our next trip to see them!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Skytteholm in Ekerö, and I am delighted to say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking location to the excellent hospitality and top-notch facilities, there was nothing I could fault. The location of the hotel is simply stunning. It is situated on an island in the middle of a picturesque lake, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The tranquil setting was perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwinding. I enjoyed taking walks along the lakeside and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff at Hotel Skytteholm deserve special praise. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Every one of my requests was promptly met, and they went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable, making the experience even more pleasant.

Located on the shores of Lake Mälaren, this elegant manor features a large garden and a private boat jetty. Stockholm’s city centre is 25 minutes’ drive away.

It is a lovely little swedish house in great nature. I loved it to swim in the lake or paddle out with the boat and to walk over the Island. The people there are very friendly.

We have not stayed in the booked house, but were rebooked in the castle (no complaint about it ;-) ). The castle is located on a large horse farm with direct proximity to the Mälaren. Who is looking for seclusion, very nice hosts and a quiet Place is exactly right here. Also the proximity to Södertalje and Stockholm (40min by car) are a plus point.

These modern apartments are only a 10-minute metro ride from Stockholm Central Station. Each has a modern kitchen, TV and free WiFi.

The location is perfect, so close to metro station. The rooms are clean and comfortable for short stays. Although it was cold in the evenings the stuff had provided a heater.
