We had everything we needed in the kitchen for simple cooking, and the place is equipped with a washer/dryer combo machine which is a must when you have young kids. The bathroom was a comfortably good size for a family of 4. The garden and outdoor seating area with a pond of pretty fish was a pleasure for our kids. Our lovely and very helpful host, Jonathan, was so kind to let our son feed the fish too! The location was great, offering tranquility for the evenings and perfect for sightseeing as it is close to Ekerö and Bromma for trips to Stockholm via public ferry/train/bus. It is also very close to good hiking spots! We have good friends in Sweden so we will definitely keep this address for our next trip to see them!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Skytteholm in Ekerö, and I am delighted to say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking location to the excellent hospitality and top-notch facilities, there was nothing I could fault. The location of the hotel is simply stunning. It is situated on an island in the middle of a picturesque lake, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The tranquil setting was perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwinding. I enjoyed taking walks along the lakeside and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff at Hotel Skytteholm deserve special praise. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Every one of my requests was promptly met, and they went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable, making the experience even more pleasant.

It is a lovely little swedish house in great nature. I loved it to swim in the lake or paddle out with the boat and to walk over the Island. The people there are very friendly.

We have not stayed in the booked house, but were rebooked in the castle (no complaint about it ;-) ). The castle is located on a large horse farm with direct proximity to the Mälaren. Who is looking for seclusion, very nice hosts and a quiet Place is exactly right here. Also the proximity to Södertalje and Stockholm (40min by car) are a plus point.

Located on the shores of Lake Mälaren, this elegant manor features a large garden and a private boat jetty. Stockholm’s city centre is 25 minutes’ drive away.

Location was very good. Breakfast was ok. The two younger staff on reception were polite and helpful.

Housed under the same roof as Solna Shopping Mall, this hotel is within walking distance of Solna Business Park, Mall of Scandinavia and Friends Arena.

Being located in the mall helped a lot with shopping for groceries (coming down to ICA supermarket for a to go salad was a great option) and the food court is good and the bar in the hotel is great. It was very clean and the mattress and the pullows were fluffy and super comfortable. Bathroom was neat and clean. The subway is right as you exit the mall so going down to the city centre is very easy and quick.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Ulriksdal Station, this modern hotel is 10 minutes’ train ride from Stockholm Central Station. It offers free WiFi access and guest rooms with flat-screen cable TVs.

THE STAFF ON NIGHTSHIFT WERE BOTH AWESOME. I love the outdoor elevator which is the main feature of the hotel. Breakfast was okay, but hopefully more fresh fruit. : }

Everything was perfect. Very close to the metro station and the room was very spacious. We slept very well as bed was very comfortable and soft. Breakfast was excellent and had a lot of choices.
