Bed was comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Kitchen was very inviting. I had a difficult time reaching dinnerware and pots and pans in low to the floor cabinets. Handicapped with back issues made the low toilet almost laughable. Quite the tight area.

DuBois, right now, is basically a small town that travelers pass thru. There are adequate gas stations, etc., but the cafe/restaurants are almost non-existant. The waiting time for a table is deplorable. And to top it off, one of the two cafes in town is closed on Wednesdays! We did find a public restroom at least 2 blocks off the Main Street, but no direction signs as to how to get there. Both food and lodging were good, but prices were horrendous! DuBois doesn’t want to be another Jackson, but it doesn’t mind charging the same extremely high prices!!

The town was very comfortable and the people were very friendly. The Military Museum is a must see. Totally worth seeing and even better going through it in 2 days due to the size and information. Presented very well

We came to Dubois to visit the National Museum of Military Vehicles. Amazing museum! I'm not that interested in vehicles or war - and so I was surprised that I liked it so much - but learning the history of each war and the sacrifices made by our veterans was captivating. Went back for the second day. Also went on a great hike to Louise Lake - ate at Noon Rock pizza and Cowboy Cafe. Both very delicious. Also saw the stained glass windows in St. Thomas' church. Very friendly people. Went on a beautiful ride to Brooks Lake and saw the Pinnacles. Wonderful area to spend a few days.

Dubois is a cute little town with a BIG history. It was interesting and if traveling there again, think ahead and make reservations if you want to eat in town. The grocery store is a little pricey, but I think it was because the cost of living is high. DEFINATELY go to the Museum of Military vehicles.

We booked four rooms early in the spring. All were together and two had kitchen facilities. This allowed us to prepare some meals for our family reunion get-to-gather. Weather was hot but the rooms had good air conditioners which helped. Beds were comfortable and a roll-away was furnished as requested. The maid service which was good when we asked for extra things like bedding. The lodge was within a short driving distance from the Military Vehicle museum and the town of Dubois. A good quiet setting along the river.

The individual buildings and general setting has considerable charm: Trees, grass, fresh air, and hens running loose. With ample parking space, it is possible to reverse up to the door to unload, then park more tidily. There is access to Wind River from the garden (through a gate that should be child safe for younger children); some guests were fishing when I went to take a look. The lodge is well situated for visits to the nearby national parks and reserves, and coffee and restaurants can be found in Dubois.

We stayed in Dubois for three nights. It is a small, quiet town, and worked well for us. We had family staying at the KOA, and it was only three blocks from the hotel. The Cowboy Cafe, where excellent food was served, was up the steps and next door to the hotel. And they opened at 6 am, which is wonderful when you live on East Coast time. Our room and the grounds were clean and well-kept including the laundry facility that I used one day.

This property was our salvation after a reservation elsewhere fell through. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, our room was comfortable and clean (and cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided), breakfast was nice and overall value for money was excellent, especially considering our last minute booking in peak season. We fell in love with the small town of Dubois during our stay and discovered some great eating places.

My friend and I shared a room here after 4 days 3 nights backpacking. We were exhausted and wanted the closest option. We were thrilled this Super 8 had a room, and were so beat that not much else mattered. I do remember the beds were clean, check in was easy, but not much else. We more or less dragged our stuff into the room, showered, and passed out.

We stayed at a large room with a full kitchen which was a nice surprise. We checked in late so couldn’t see any staff but they made sure it went smooth. Great stop for a night or two. The people in the town of Dubois itself gave us super creepy vibes so we just used the place for a stop in our roadtrip and left quickly.

Older nostalgic property but facilities were clean, and property was well kept. Updated and very comfortable beds and bedding. No AC but even on 100* daytime temps it was cool and comfortable at night with fans. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our late arrival. Dubois is a nice gateway to the Tetons.

The room was clean. Four packets of regular coffee (and two decaf) were left for the guests' use. Dubois is well situated for onward travel, but as there are several other places where the staff are more considerate, I'd recommend trying them.

Kind and calm hostess, spacious and ultra clean room, nice kitchen. From the kitchen window, you can see wyoming ground squirrels staring at the setting sun. I wish I could stay at this hotel just one more night..

It's one of the few hotels on the east side of Tetons and Yellow Stone Park. Once the pass is closed I don't think you would be able to make it over the mountains into the park from the hotel.
