The hotel was nice, no complaints and the location was excellent. But the exceptional was the staff upon checking in at 430pm on the 22nd. The two ladies that checked me in was really good, great attitude, great personality, smiles and laughed often. Truly had empathy toward the guests checking in and made us feel welcome….. well done and two of the best in the last 50 motel stays

The owner, manager, and staff (except for two desk attendants) were rude and unprofessional. I had an issue with My stay. When I went to the desk to talk to someone, the owner heard Me talking, walked away, got into his car, and drove off to avoid the conversation. I was called by the general manager the next day, after I submitted a review. I was told told to send something in an email, but I never got a response or a call back. And now she's not answering My calls. That's not how you treat customers in the hospitality business. I would not EVER recommend staying here.

We were not aware that parking was across the street from Hotel. The pool looked fine but we were not allowed to use it and not told till after we checked in. The outdoor bar was directly across from our corner room and kept us awake till 2:00 am with music. None of this info was posted on line when we booked the room. Very disappointed with our visit.

I only experienced the hotel area and I would highly recommend the whole riverfront property area with ball park and restaurants across the street, not to mention a beautiful view from the rooftop bar area.

Close to great golf and fascinating history.

Close to great golf and fascinating history. Some good local eateries and beautiful walks. The history of the area is breathtaking and not often told. Who knew Nirth Augusta contained the largest wooden structure in the world in 1910, the Hampton Terrace Hotel (which burned down in 1916). Lovely old homes and broad streets and a stunning riverfront intrigued us.
