This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

It's a very nice, family-run hotel in the countryside, around 10 min drive from Stykkishólmur. The atmosphere is so cozy, they have good breakfast and dinner options, though I did not try them myself.

The room, washroom and kitchen are clean. I have nothing to criticize. Next time I will definitely book this guesthouse again once I have another visit to Stykkishólmur.

We drove straight from the airport late at night in adverse conditions and she stayed up for us! Upon arrival, the cabin was warm and cozy. The shower was hot and we had everything we needed there. Unfortunately we only stayed the night but can imagine it is lovely for more! Her lovely doggy also came to say good morning to us :)
