We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

Our WiFi didnt work, at one moring and the owner fixed it right away, thumps up for that.

Full kitchen, calmness around, in the middle of the nature, BBQ on the property, parking in front of the house. The road is a bit bumpy for 7 km, nothing serious even a normal car can do it.
