Our host, Neil, was very friendly and met us when we arrived. The house far exceeded our expectations. The pool and the outdoor area were lovely and we spent much of our time there making the most of the massive braai. The garden felt very private and you could walk straight onto the river edge from the garden to watch the beautiful sunsets. The kitchen had everything you could need including complimentary wine, coffee pods, tea etc. The beds were very comfortable and the main en suite had an amazing view of the Berg River. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity and would recommend to people.

Great location with awesome views. Pool was clean and warm. Massive braai and more than enough space for 9 of us to not get in each other's way.

The lodges are spacious and very well designed with windows on all aspects to give lots of light and views over the countryside. They are well equipped, and very clean. The managers are keen to ensure that everything is very enjoyable. It is lovely to see the quaggas and other animals as well as the bird life on the river. Apparently, September is the season to see all the flowers.

We booked a self catering apartment. It was cozy, stylish and private. We felt right at home. The location was excellent, just a few minutes away from where we had to attend a wedding.
