There are lights everywhere to light the way, which we really appreciated, and they are not so bright they take away from the experience. We would recommend this place to people and definitely come back. We also did the sauna with jacuzzi and it was so much fun, even went for a quick dip in the lake. Sofia was super helpful with our questions and taught us how to light a fire too :)

The Science Center Pilke is within 1.5 km of the holiday home. Quiet location, very easy walk to a supermarket, and extremely cosy place to sleep. 30 minute walk to town or easy taxi ride using Uber or similar local apps (or the taxi rank by McDonalds). There's a great kitchen which helps reduce eating out costs which can be steep in Rovaniemi for a family, and an excellent shower. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property without reservation.
