Búdardalur village is within 15 minutes’ drive. We were a family of 5 and came for one night The cottage is very spacious in an amazing location, the owner of the place received us very nicely and answered all our questions, overall highly recommended.

AH-MAZE-ING! The view alone was worth the stay. Martin (the host) was warm and kind. Breakfast was light but perfect. If we ever come back we will absolutely be staying here!

We felt at home. nearby there are supermarkets and typical and fantastic restaurants and cafes. a magical place that reconciles you with the world and makes you thank Mother Nature more and more because she allows us to live on this earth. grundarfiordur is on a peninsula that encompasses all of Iceland and its beauties, its immensity, its power which is the power of Mother Nature and the Universe. And what about the Northern Lights? we stayed 5 nights for 5 nights the Aurora Borealis graced us with its presence. The emotion you feel in feeling surrounded by such great magic is indescribable. We visited many places in 5 days and upon returning home to Grundarfiordur OceanFront welcomed us in a relaxing atmosphere of quiet and peace. Thank you. Heartily recommended Consuelo Bergamo Italy

Situated in Budhir, Marbakki Luxury Ocean Retreat features accommodation with a hot tub, a solarium and an open-air bath. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Guests can make use of a garden. Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
