The building and grounds are wonderful. The front desk staff and butlers (guys who helped with luggage) were professional and polite , even the gardener who I stopped to chat with was very nice,knowledgeable and helpful. The lady who gave me a massage in the spa was excellent.

The room was beautifully decorated, with good quality bedding, and supplied with everything you needed. Toiletries of good quality, bathroom and shower excellent, loved having a fridge with fresh milk. Our room was very quiet. Little noise from a very busy road. Staff were very approachable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely stay.

Rooms comfortable, warm, clean and quiet; on the small side but we didn't mind that. Good breakfasts and pub serving good meals within 5 minutes walk. Plenty of free parking. Lovely Chiltern hills and woods nearby, and within striking distance of Cliveden, Henley etc

We seemed to be in a quiet part of the hotel and had a peaceful night. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly, we had an evening bite to eat which turned into a feast and the staff serving were very helpful and again lovely.
