It offers free parking and WiFi and continental breakfast served in your room. Fantastic Scottish Castle with the perfect atmosphere and modern facilities. The owner was great! And the food we had for breakfast and snacks was wonderful!!!

Breakfast at Arden Country House is freshly prepared and includes cooked items, fruit and cereal. It is served in the breakfast room for guests staying in B&B rooms and offers views of the gardens. Special diets can be accommodated on request. 10/10, we only spent one night but everything was perfect, from the hospitality of the owners, to the pleasant room and wonderfull breakfast (the best I had so far in any bookings). Would recommend without hesitation.

Rooms at the magnificent Carberry Tower Mansion House are all unique and traditional in style. Each also comes with a work desk and facilities for making tea and coffee. This castle is spectacular. You’re not just getting a bedroom, you’re getting access to magnificent hallways with tapestries, stained glass windows and armour. You can sit in the stunning music room, library, snug and other historic rooms. The views from the bedrooms are spectacular (ours overlooked the walled garden). The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and full of cute rabbits. The complementary breakfast was delicious and even included haggis which was exciting for us foreign visitors.

The property is around 33 km from Edinburgh Playhouse, 33 km from Royal Mile and 34 km from Edinburgh Waverley station. The property is non-smoking and is situated 12 km from Muirfield. Location was amazing, really quiet and scenic and great walks for our dog. Private tennis court was a bonus. Only 15 min drive to North Berwick. Lots to see and do in the area.
