In a tranquil setting on the banks Loch Awe, Taychreggan Hotel offers elegant accommodation and high-quality dining. We have travelled widely and it would be in the top three experiences.

At Brambles of Inveraray each room includes bed linen and towels. We loved our stay of 2 nights in the Garden suite! Simply amazing! When we arrived we had a very nice warm welcome of Victoria, one of the owners of Brambles of Inverary. The Garden suite is just lovely! Amazing comfortable beds and sofa in front of the tv. My compliments to the housekeeper who specially arranged the stuffed animals of my daughter on her bed when we came back in our room. This totally made her feel really special. Brambles had their own restaurant and coffee café accross the street. In their restaurant they serve during the day nice lunches including amazing pastries and cakes. I was personally in heaven with 1 of their specialties, the blue berry lemon curd cake with lemon frosting. It's a good thing for my health that I do not live here haha. The first night we also had dinner at the restaurant of Brambles. This was also really excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant is nice for any kind of group. In the morning we had breakfast at Brambles which was included. You could choose something cooked from the menu and you were able to take anything you wanted from the counter. Like croissants, cereals or juices. We had Eggs Benedict, very tasty! Brambles is located at the main street of Inverary. Within 10 minutes walk of the Inverary castle and 1 minute walk of the Inverary Jail. Both I definitely recommend to visit! In the area there are also really nice hikes you can do for example go up the mountain 250 metres high to the look out point of Dun Na Cuaiche. Trust me it's worth it! The view at Inverary and Loch Fyne is breahttaking! Next time if Inverary is on our route, we will again book our stay with Brambles!

Rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. All rooms have a view of the garden and some have a view of the loch. Every room is equipped with a small kitchen and private bathroom. Culag Lochside Self Catering features free WiFi . Patrick and his wife are exellent hosts. They do everything to make you you comfortabel. And what about that view! Marvelous!

With views over the loch, the hotel's award winning seafood restaurant serves freshly prepared, locally-sourced seafood and game. The restaurant offers a la carte dining at lunch and at dinner, including a children's menu and an extensive wine list. A return visit, so I was hoping for a repeat of last time's excellent experience, and was completely satisfied. Friendly and efficient staff, quality food, and comfortable bedroom.

Located in the picturesque village of Luss, just 3 minutes’ walk from the banks of Loch Lomond, Alderdale B&B features accommodation with outdoor seating area. Free public parking is possible on site.

Each room at the B&B features a TV with satellite channels and DVD player, a wardrobe and parquet floor. There is also tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with power shower and hairdryer. Absolutely adorable little b&b in Luss. The host was so helpful and responsive. We loved the proximity to one of the hotels so we could get dinner and the little breakfast we were provided was delicious.

Around 5 minutes’ walk from Oban town centre, it provides free parking and WiFi and has a guests’ lounge overlooking the bay. Location was perfect, 5 min walking from town centre. Beautiful house with amazing views.

Douglas Park Guest House is located in the village of Kirn, just 1 mile from the Dunoon town centre. This Victorian building offers free Wi-Fi access in all areas and has free parking on site.

Rooms here are decorated in a contemporary style and will provide you with a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms have a sea view and a garden view. Breakfast was delicious. Room was beautiful.

A Victorian property overlooking the picturesque bay, Sutherland House in Oban offers high-quality accommodation. Within a 10-minute walk of the ferry terminal and train station, ithe en suite rooms have free Wi-Fi. Very pleasant, enjoyable stay. The folk at Sutherland are so nice, their advice for places to go were spot on!

This 4-star Victorian guest house has free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. Beautiful and cozy room with a fantastic view of the bay. Clive and Karin went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and gave us great recommendations for things to see in the area.

MacKays is a high-quality, 4-star guest house, which is exclusively for adults. The award-winning property stands out on Oban's beautiful seafront, with uninterrupted views of the busy harbour. Oban's busy town centre is just 15 minutes' walk away. The location was perfect. We had a gorgeous view of the bay from our front window. There was also seating outside. The room was immaculate. Parking was private and directly in front of the building.
