The views from the breakfast room are so good it was once listed in The Times Top 10 Most Scenic Restaurants. Our stay was amazing. Highfield is a building with all the infraestructure and facilities for a great stay. The staff was truly helpful and, by the moment we checked in they also upgraded out stay to a better room, with an astonishing lake view. I will certainly come back when I visit Keswick again.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning.

Each stylish room has fresh light décor. Nothing really, my friend and i had a wonderful stay at Ambleside Townhouse, the staffs were super nice, the room was clean and the breakfasts were great!

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

Boat trips on Lake Windermere, which is just 1 mile away, offer uninterrupted views of the stunning mountains, bays and woodlands. Clean, tidy, comfy beds, nice amenities, great shower, nice design, space for cloths, very tall bed so you can fit you luggage beneath it (necessary as the room area is small)

The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. The facility and the people were exceptional. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of the trip. Please keep me posited with every new thing in this great resort.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake District scenery. What a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Accommodation was excellent as was all the staff members, we had a wonderful welcome, , great food .

Suitable for adults only, each room at Jerichos come with flat-screen TVs, en suite bathrooms and iPod docks. Tea/coffee making facilities are also provided. Original Victorian period features adorn the property, which also offers a cosy lounge. Jerichos is beautifully renovated and run by a lovely couple who cook a mean breakfast. The room was incredibly comfortable. Also a very convenient 7 minute walk to the train station.

Everything at Rum Doodle is excellent ..breakfast is very good and also location is very convenient...parking is also available ...rooms are cosy and comfortable.. highly recommended

Situated in Levens, 18 km from World of Beatrix Potter, The Hare and Hounds, Levens features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 32 km of Trough of Bowland. The property is non-smoking and is set 12 km from Kendal Castle. The guidebook in the room was very helpful and provided information about things to do in the Lake District area, by foot or car. I took a 45 minute walk around the nearby farm and enjoyed quiet, scenic views. The unit we stayed in consisted of a large living room, full kitchen, bedroom, and bath with shower and tub. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both meals were scrumptious. There was a great vibe at dinner and it was clear that this is not just a spot for guests, but also popular with the locals. Parking was available just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
