We initially booked the room as it is very close to Thessaloniki Airport (15 minutes by car) where we had to pick up our rental car the next day.
We were welcomed with a big smile and fruit salad. Stavros is a great host, warm-hearted and helpful.
We walked down to the beach and had some nice food and drinks. You can watch lovely sunsets from the pier.
We had the room with the double bed, Stavros provided a cooling fan and a little aircon.
It’s a charming old house with a lot of cats in the back garden :)

A sweet place close to Thessaloniki.
A sweet place close to Thessaloniki. It has everything you need. In November, when we were there, everything was working, most of the cafes and restaurants, which particularly delighted me. I think I will visit Pereu again.

Our flight was cancelled and I booked on short notice.
Our flight was cancelled and I booked on short notice. They had a room available and even called me to confirm I could check in early, which was great under the circumstances. Right on the seaside with beautiful views, it was a great surprise and excellent value which made our delay experience so much nicer

Peraia is a nice relatively small town, but has everything you'd need. Reasonable supermarkets in town are available. There is a pier from where you can get a boat to Thessaloniki. The beach itself is nice and not overly busy, but busier at weekends as gets crowds in from city.
The promenade is lined with bars and restaurants so whether it's a coffee, cocktail, beer or a relaxing Greek meal, there is plenty to whet the appetite. There are also a couple of small gaming places and you can hire kids bikes / scooters.
A water park (Waterland Thessaloniki) is 20 minutes away by car and the city is 30 minutes away which is well worth a visit with plenty of history, culture to see and the nightlife is also vibrant in the city.

We have been to Perea several times before and love the fact that it's away from the city's business yet still close enough. We have found Perea bit cleaner than previous times however unfortunately still seeing a fair amount of pollution on the streets, beach and ocean unfortunately. Restaurants are generally very well priced with good food. Worth getting the waiter to re-read you order since there is a language gap with locals that has caused some confusion before. Would also be great if they had no smoking restaurants and beaches but rather designated smoking areas. Non smokers, pregnant women and children are constantly exposed to second hand smoke and buds are littered everywhere. Would definitely be a hotspot and highly recommended after a clean up.

Very average place (and beach). Nothing special to do.
Very average place (and beach). Nothing special to do. Also all the beaches nearby (in Thessaloniki) are average or bellow average. It is cheaper then standard Greek touristic places. And the best thing is that it is close to Thessaloniki which is very nice city to hangout.
It's a great and cozy apartment. Wonderful and responsive owners. Great location, 1 minute from the beach, 3-5 minutes from supermarkets including a large one. Parking is simple even if the specific parking for the apartment isn't available, you just park on the other side of the street. The entire apartment can easily be shaded from light in the morning for people who want to sleep late. The kitchen is fully staffed with anything needed. So really, recommended!
This is excellent choice for a stay in Perea. Literally steps from the beach/sea, in the center where you have everything you need around you. The studio is equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay, easy and accurate communication with the polite owner. You can freely park the car in front of the building or closely around. Absolute reccomendation for this place!
Our strongest impression was how polite, friendly and helpful was the staff!! Greeting you always with the smile, and doing their best to make you feel comfortable and serviced. Another great thing was the food, variety of dishes and the deserts were amazing. Not to mention how convenient is that the hotel is right on the beach... Rooms are really spacious and comfortable.
The room was renovated and comfortable with a nice balcony. The hotel itself is perfectly situated in a quiet part of Perea. A few minutes walking distance either from the wild part of the beach that is empty and nice, or from the busier part (but not too crowded) that has all the amenities. The staff was also nice and helpful.
Super apartment, we will visit again next year! We were with our dog. The apartment is 2 minutes from the Perea beach, there is free parking, there is a huge supermarket near the street Antheon, and there are also a lot of restaurants and bars on the beach street, a 5-minute walk. The host, Milena, was super nice!
Great location near the beach and at one of the main streets in Perea, specious parking, specious apartment with everything needed for a good stay with a family. Communication with the host George and his wife Eleonora was on a high level, thanks. We will visit the place again.
We were in Hotel Avra in December for 2 night stay. The hotel is very close to the beach. Near the hotel there are restaurants, cafes and shops. Rooms are clean, and the staff is polite and helpful, answering every question that we had. Overall we had good expiriance.
The stay was really good, one of the best places in Greece so far, we just had a short stay for the proximity to the airport. Really comfortable, great facilities, clean. Washing machine, many cooking tools, cutlery..
Clear and quick communication with the host.
First of all, it was very nice to be in your hotel.
I want to thank you for your hospitality, I am very satisfied with the accommodation itself, your approach and an excellent and nice stay.
I will surely come again.
I am very satisfied. .
We've just slept a single night here after just arriving to Greece later night. Later check-in simple and friendly. Good night sleep. Wonderful breakfast in the morning with various options. Hotel in front of the beach.
Very nice, clean and comfortable appartment in very center in Perea, near to the shops and bus station and the sea also, only 10 min from airport with a car.Recomended.There is a closed garden for people with kids.
The owner was available, and everything was according to agreement. Apartment is nicely furnished and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable. Very close to the beach.
My recommendation.
- The location is really good in Perea. Everything is around the property. The hosts are nice, and they want to help if needed. You can discuss check-in and check-out time changes.
The room was very nice and cozy (different from most of the apartments in Greece). The hosts were very friendly, kind and helpful. We would definitely come back.
