Taj on marine drive (they changed the name so many times that it’s hard to say if it’s Gateway or Vivanta or just Taj!) has the best location if you need to access the train station, the city and most importantly the marine drive. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed the stay as we could take nice walks along the bay and take fun cruises (the hotel’s own cruise is on Fridays and Saturdays; but neither is it mentioned anywhere nor do they tell you; we had to ask). The room was very beautiful and had a great view of the bay. Housekeeping department is the star performer of the hotel.
