We’ve been to Vilamoura so many times but this was our first time in the Crown Plaza and it was absolutely fantastic!! The breakfast, the food at the pool and the cocktails were top class. The staff are so attentive and could give lessons to other hotels on how to treat guests!! It was my husband’s birthday while we were there and we came back to our room to find they had left us cava, drinks for the kids and birthday cake…. It was brilliant! Would highly recommend this hotel and we will never stay anywhere else again as the others do not compete!!
Overlooking Vilamoura Marina on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, this hotel offers a large outdoor pool. Located in 30,000 m² of private gardens, it features an extensive spa.

A luxury, purpose-built resort along the Algarve region coastline offering a variety of accommodation ranging from 5-star hotels to villas and apartments, Vilamoura is the largest complex of its type in Europe. It is conveniently located, 16 km from Albufeira and 25 km from Faro Airport.
Its heart and soul lies around the exclusive Marina, while the 20 square kilometre development is flanked by a Golf Academy and 6 Golf Courses. It also includes a casino and a variety of sports facilities, comprising a diving club and a large, sandy beach. All-inclusive resorts, as well as 4 and 5 star hotels around Vilamoura Marina and its beaches are all popular choices.

Beautiful place, fantastic food. Lots of trips you are able to book when you're there like parasailing, fishing, jet skiing, dolphin watching, visit the caves, there's a waterpark nearby, beaches are beautiful and clean. It was perfect for a family holiday and we had great weather while we were there.

Marina was quiet in March but in the summer I imagine it could be hectic. Large selection of restaurants, all similar menus and prices. However the service and food was good in the few we went to. Plenty of staff

Vilamoura is a nice resort, we had not been there before, most activity at night is centred at the marina, where there are loads of restuarants and bars to suit everyone. Beach was lovely I would go back again, but definitley not to the apartment we stayed in , the apartment itself was fine but not the location or the very old run down building it was in. I would not recommend it to anyone .

Great location with fantastic restaurants around the Marina and the streets behind. Easy to walk everywhere, plenty of shops and supermarkets in addition to local businesses. We loved the atmosphere and the warm welcome in bars and restaurants. Weather was constantly warm and sunny, average 26 degrees for 1st 2 weeks in October. I Cesteiro fish restaurant were we had turbot as a favourite, along with The Fisherman’s Shack, Rodizio & Sal & Fogo, all amazing food and service

I have stayed in Vilamoura many times and simply love the place and its vibrancy, great restaurants and bars. I would personally recommend one bar especially to visit and that is Als Bar a very high standard and great drinks with stunning bar area with a superb host namely Al. This bar is just off the Marina behind the road where the taxi rank is situated in a square with 4 restaurants in the vicinity.
The hotel is in an excellent location. The view from our room was fabulous. The room was big with a big balcony (apartment on 5th floor) and excellently equipped. The only point I would make is that it is certainly dated but spotlessly clean. This hotel needs upgrading. It was just for one night and if I was staying longer in Vilamoura I would prefer to stay in a more luxurious hotel. I would rate it as a 3 star hotel. My husband would rate it as 2 star. However, it was a very pleasant stay for one night. Staff were excellent. Thank you.
The hotel is situated near the Victoria golf course in Vilamoura. The bedrooms are absolutely stunning, we had a deluxe bedroom, which was very spacious, luxurious furniture, fabulous bed and well equipped mini bar. breakfast at the property was amazing. Champagne breakfast was on the menu and anything that you could think of you could have. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
The spa was lovely as was the outdoor swimming pool.
loved that the hotel offered a free minibus shuttle down to the marina and we use this a few times .
This is a fantastic hotel, with brilliant staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I was travelling with a very elderly relative and everyone was very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a 'marina' view which meant it was a little noisy at night (but that's hardly the hotel's fault). Would book sea view next time.
Lovely range of toiletries and very fluffy bathrobe and slippers.
Breakfast was perfect, except for the coffee I'm afraid.
Sunbeds were plentiful and prices were as expected for a 5*.
We would recommend staying here if visiting Vilamoura. The room was great, a minutes walk from the hotel and they left us a lovely surprise as it was our anniversary! As it was out of season, it wasn't too busy but still a bit too cold to use the outdoor pool! The indoor pool was very clean and lovely and warm! The breakfast selection was great, plenty to choose from and service was good! It's about a 5mins taxi ride from the centre and 20-30mins in taxi to the airport so handy enough!
Very good location, minutes from the beach and marina. The hotel itself was lovely, very clean, very friendly staff and rooms were serviced daily. Our room had a sea view and was very big with a small kitchenette well kitted out. Breakfast was included and had a great choice for everyone. Snack bar was very reasonable for sandwiches, pizza's, chips. Pool was spotless and lots of sunbeds available. If we return to Vilamoura we would stay here again.
The apartment was large beautiful decor comfortable with everything you could need.
Location quiet relaxing and convenient for the beach marina and local restaurants.
Pool area clean with sun beds available we had it to ourselves most days!
All staff we had contact with were helpful and pleasant ( even when we locked the keys inside!)
Thoroughly recommend if you are looking for a quiet relaxing break will be back hopefully.
The setting of the hotel was just perfect stunning grounds which were immaculately maintained yet close to the beautiful Marina and all that has to offer .
The breakfast was the best I’ve ever seen with a huge selection for every taste including avocado and honey comb. The staff were amazing , friendly attentive and nothing was too much trouble . Chocolates and a birthday cake were a lovely unexpected treat too.
Villa Girassol was exactly the property we were looking for. We travelled to Vilamoura for a family wedding and wanted to make sure we were all together as a family rather than booking a hotel. The location was ideal with no problems getting an Uber or a Taxi into the marina at night for dinner. It was also a lovely walk to the Marina in the mornings. The facilities in the villa were exceptional.
This is the second time I have stayed here and it was fantastic. the apartments are very comfortable and modern. Fantastic for friends as there is lots of space. The pool area is also great and was very quiet during our stay. There is a hotel transfer into the marina if needed and Uber is only 5/6€. The piazza had great food and service and the hotel across the way also had a lovely restaurant.
Villas are in an excellent location to visit many of the main towns in the Algarve. Within walking distance to Villamoura Marina. Situated in a very quiet area the villas are very well equipped and comfortable and situated within nice gardens with an excellent swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff.
We were checked in by Gabriel and he was amazing! Best person at the hotel, so friendly and made us feel so welcome instantly! The hotel was a nice size and very cosy. The marina wasn’t too far which was nice. The maids always made the room spotless and the hotel was very clean.
Very clean and has everything you need. Quiet area with about 15/20 mins walk to Marina. Great value for the price we paid. Low rise apartments and not big high building like other hotels.
Location and facilities around are great.
It is located in a quiet place, but with easy access to main interesting areas like Marina or beach (walking or by car).
Great swimming pool.
Staff very friendly. Hotel in excellent location a stones throw from marina. Nice pool area. Excellent selection for breakfast. Balconies have excellent view of marina.
The apartment was perfect for our needs. Very clean and well furnished with everything we needed. Excelkent location with very short walk to Marina and beach
