Clean apartment with a nice view of the Nanos plateau, close to Postojna. Although it's next to the busy highway, you can hardly hear it when the windows are closed. The host spoke English. She is fond of stitching (very pretty curtains in the apartment) and gave our daughter a hand-made apron as a farewell gift.

The host was the most simpatic and one of the kindest and generous man I have ever met, he showed us around the property and explained where everything was he made us feel very welcomed (as if we were family). They have really good wines produced by them. We are a family of 5 and the 2 bedroom flat was very comfortable. We only stayed 1 night but I can definetely reccomend it for 2/3 nights as the location is worth seeing!

Everything if new and spotless clean, not necessary my taste but very beautiful made hotel. In my opinion more than 4 stars. I would love to stay more than one night, would come back and see the region. Enormous TV in the room that would have entertained well for couple of days in case of rain or bad health :) Breakfast had a lot of option and host was very warm welcoming.

I stayed at Guesthouse Sanabor for one night on my 10 day trip around the exceptionally beaufitul country of Slovenia.
The owners were very welcoming and hospitable right from the start with the offer of a fruit brandy on arrival.
The Guesthouse was very quiet and my double room was basic but very clean and comfortable.
Guesthouse Sanabor is highly recommended for an overnight stay in this part of Slovenia close to the amazing Postojna cave.
The Avio Pub is a very short distance away and recommended for its pizzas.
