“GBB is a wonderful place for a weekend retreat. Set amongst the granite belt bush, the cabins are beautifully private and well set up. We rented three for a family get together. GBB is a very short drive outside of Stanthorpe, which makes it close to the Granite Belt wine region - which we thoroughly enjoyed visiting. (The region’s Strange Birds wines - wine varietals that comprise less than 1% production in Australia - are suited to the climate and conditions of the area, and are fun to explore). The staff at GBB were amazing - nothing was too much bother.”

The hosts Lynne and Chris are such welcome, lovely and warm hearted people, they thought of everything and did their utmost to ensure we enjoyed our stay there. “Everything was a breeze from check in to check out. Denice and John were very accommodating hosts. We arrived later (around 7pm) and the cabin had the wood stove going so it was toasty in the house. The beds were comfortable and kept us warm in the winter nights. We made a reservation for their 6 course degustation and it was fabulous! 6 courses and wine and even John came out to entertain us with his guitars! The winery is located about 10 minutes from town but still close to heaps of other wineries. Great location! Thank you so much! The trip was fabulous!”

The BBQ needs a scrubbing brush for cleaning off, otherwise there were all the utensils we needed, plus more than enough cutlery and crockery!”

The RSL was busy with live music. Only a couple of minutes drive. The breakfast was to die for. Better than high quality restaurant food. I am a veto and she made a effort. It was appreciated.
