“Definetly the best Hostel I have seen so far. Shane, who runs this YHA is the most perfect host I have experienced throughout my travels. I have been around quite a bit, so this is meant seriously. I generally do not give reviews, but the effort this host puts into his business is worth mentioning. There is two tours that are offered by Shane himself and which cover the absolute highlights of Yamba. For only 10 or 15 AUD these are extremely underpriced and thus of incomparable value. Our Room was bigger than booked and perfectly clean. Especially the bathroom with a large shower was perfectly clean. Out of nothing the hostel had a free barbecue for all its guests on our second evening. The atmosphere was very kind and welcoming. The hostel even managed to change our booking within a couple of hours prior to our planned arrival without extra fees.”
