“1. Location is great. Close to the Bancroft town, restaurants and stores. Very easy to find and park. 2. The house is absolutely lovely and clean. The house has over a hundred years of history and lots of lovely decorations and antiques. Although the bathroom is shared, I found it always clean and accessible. I generally would book rooms with private bathrooms when I travel, but it is not an issue at all at Kathryn's place because you just feel as if you're staying at your friend's house. If you're looking for an authentic Canadian cottage experience, I would definitely recommend this place! 3. Kathryn is super nice and accommodating. She gave us tons of advice on the town and the Algonquin Park - advice that you cannot find on a travel guide book but that only the locals know. The breakfast is delicious and we enjoyed very much chatting with her. I felt like we're a bunch of elementary school girls visiting our friend's house and were well taken care of by our friend's mom!”

“Best place ever! The breakfast is exceptional, delicious and homecooked. The suite is roomy, very clean, comfortable and like a home away from home. Dave and Aileen really took care of us. They are very kind and loving people. They provided every little thing you could think of. Kitchen is fully equipped. Everything is very modern and decorated beautifully. A lot of thought and care is put into the suite to the likes and desires of guests. Very private and has a private entrance. Property is nicely kept with lighted walkway to door also. They have thought of everything!”
