When I showed the people at the counters in the airport my reservation at the QUBE, I asked them where I could find the shuttle. They told me there was no shuttle. I asked them to help me get a taxi then and I thought I was taking a taxi to the hotel that turned out to be a private taxi. The man driving told me he wanted 10% tip, but I paid for the taxi at the airport because I didn't have any money.. The nice lady that spoke English, told me there was a shuttle.. I told her about the man wanting a tip and she asked if I had a receipt. I showed her the receipt and she explained that it was a private taxi I had been set up with, but not to give him a tip because they had charged me a lot of money.. She was very nice and I would suggest that if anyone I know goes to Shanghi that they should stay at the QUBE!”

With a view of People's Square, the iconic Jin Jiang Park Hotel in Shanghai was built in 1934 and is one of the city's key historical buildings.
“There were more things I loved than what I found frustrating. 1.) Its about 45 minutes from Pu Dong airport via taxi/private car (we got a private car from airport that cost 700RMB = $102 USD) 2.) The hotel is right across the street from People's Square Station 3.) The breakfast buffet was good, it had enough to fill your belly to get through a long day on 1 big meal (88 RMB = $13 USD) 4.) When you exit the hotel and walk to the left, there is a Starbucks, Wax Museum, and Shopping Mall with a food court on the Basement level (most of their malls have this so be sure to stop in!) 5.) When you walk out of hotel and exit left, it takes you straight on to Nanjing Road and The Bund at the end of the road! This was the highlight of our stay. 6.) When you see the Bund, be sure to check out the tunnel and some of the quirky amusement they have inside(3D trick museum, etc) 7.) We stayed in room 511 and the view wasn't great but it was good enough. 8.) Shanghai Disney was about 45 minutes away by taxi and cost around 145 RMB ($21). If you can plan ahead, take a train, its cheaper and if you get motion sickness, you wont feel sick from the drive there!!! 9.) The concierge, housekeeping, and doorman were extremely sweet, I would definitely stay here again!”

“The hotel had nothing to recommend it. When we chose the hotel one factor was the fact that it was part of the Relais Chateaux group. The carpet was dirty the place really needs to be renovated and has done so for many years. Only one staff member who was not often on duty spoke any English at all. The safe didn't did not work. The bar was closed as was room service from 9 PM on Sunday evening. They did not appear to be any way of Getting even a cup of coffee as they seem to be no kitchen at all but we could not find out from the staff. We could not wait to get out of that hotel. It is and doubtedly the worst hotel experience we have had for very many years.”
