“Delicious breakfast in a dining room filling with charming touches, including the funny bread knives disguised as baguettes and salamis. The bottomless coffee was especially attractive for meine amerikanische verhältnisse. Lovely comfortable rooms with a nice mix of modern and antique. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Lovely fluffy towels. A bed so comfortable that my partner and I want to buy the same mattress for at home. The owners are a sweet funny couple with plenty of expert tips about the region and great conversationalists, the kitchen makes amazing food (stone oven pizzas with crispy thin crusts and a hamburger with potato "buns" that my companion and I foolishly split and then ended up competing for the last bites). Kevin the waiter made all our meals feel like we were in the VIP section and we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace every night smelling the breeze from the Maar. We're absolutely booking again.”

“The apartment was absolutely gorgeous. It was beautifully decorated and all appliances and facilities were first class. We had everything we could want-space, beautiful views across the small village, car parking. The host family lived below on the ground floor but we had a separate entrance so only saw him upon arrival and leaving. It was very private. I only wish we could have stayed longer - oh well, maybe another time :)”
