“Banana Lodge is an absolutely lovely, tranquil little lodge only about 10 minute or less walk to the restaurants and other amenities in the town of Misahualli. The location is perfect- close to town yet it feels like you are in a rural location. The rooms are as clean as can be. The grounds are gorgeous. You can tell this place is very loved by the owners. There is a little beach area right on the river that is peaceful and private. The views are amazing. I ended up staying here for 3 nights after having spent two weeks deep in the jungle. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The breakfasts each morning are delicious. And on top of it all, I very much appreciated the owners. They are genuine, helpful, and have set a lovely and welcoming feel to their property. Will definitely return.”

“Very nice staf. Helped to repair binocolair case. Arrange a good taxi back to airport. Beautiful birds and monkeys in the garden of the hotel. You will see more wildlife in misahualli and the garden than with a jungle tour. The pool is clean and nice. Everything is like the pictures. Nice view over the napo river. Good food and drinks for nice price.”

“Theo was very welcoming and offered for the same price a night at the lodge in the jungle, which was great. We booked the activities for a reasonable price for 2 days, visiting chocolate making, amazoonico, caiman lagoon, night walk in the forest looking for trees and insects. we also visited a family , showing their way of life. Herman was an excellent guide! A lovely experience! The stay at the lodge was the highlight of our stay in Puerto Misahualli! Thank you Theo for your valuable help and time!”
