“Everything! The best thing about this place is Luis - he will make you feel at home and is one of the most genuinely kind people I have met in all my travels. The rooms are immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable, everything is provided including towels for the beach, soap and shampoo, laundry service (for a small fee), and all the advice about the local town you could want! The WiFi was even better than most places on the islands. We liked the location - just a 5 minute walk to Concha de Perla and the main ferry docks, and a 10 minute walk into town. The breakfast was simple but delicious - eggs cooked different ways with patacones, fresh fruit, croissants, freshly made juice, and a banana marmalade! Presented beautifully. My only regrets are that 1) we could not stay longer and 2) we did not eat lunch or dinner here. The restaurant was one of the main reasons I chose to stay here, and judging from the breakfast I think it would have been delicious, but it didn’t work out with our plans. Again Luis is just the most accommodating and wonderful host I have ever met and I would recommend staying here just so you could meet him!”

“I loved this hotel. Supernice owner + new modern rooms + place looks way better than pictured + fantastic neighbourhood in Isabela (it's not on the main street, which is a blessing trust me. You can get to the mainstreet in a few minutes walking anyway -plus it's very safe- if you need to go to a tour agency or something. But I didn't really liked the vibe of the mainstreet, because it felt kinda like Gringo town. This hotel is just a few minutes away, but it feels much more authentic and it's like you're one of the locals) + across the street is the best bbq I ate in my life + the neighbour has a restaurant and she cooks well. So, I'm glad I went for this hotel, made my stay in Isabela much more better. Best hotel I stayed in in the Galapagos. Wish the owner lots of luck with his new hotel! Oh no wait, he can't speak English.. ah well.. (and I couldn't speak Spanish, but we managed to communicate all the basic important things. He was even so nice to walk us to a laundry lady when we arrived. You'll come a far way using basic words and hands and feet!)”

“We stayed Hotel San Vicente Galapagos for 3 nights. Hotel offers free port pick up and drop off, just incase you have alot of luggage. Hotel is located 10mins walk from the Port (arriving from Santa Cruz). We were in room 1. The room was spacious and had good working air-con, hot strong shower pressure. There is a large rectangle window above the bathroom wall where people could see in. Hotel needs to put a curtain up for privacy of their guest. We had to hang our own towel up over the window for the days we were there. All sounds can be heard from our room. Neighbours in the room above us talking, roosters, staff talking. It was very loud. Don't expect to sleep well, unless you wear ear plugs. Hotel staff charged us an extra $10 for our wet suit when they booked out Los Tunnels tours. Not sure why, as the wet suit was included. Other tour guest all got wet suits included. Breakfast was a hit and miss and very basic. Coffee wasn't hot, as coffee should be - more room temp. 1st day the juice was great, 2nd day it was watered down and plain. We left at 530am on day of departure. They do not offer a go pack for breakfast. Very ordinary, considering we had paid for breakfast (most other hotels provide a proper packed breakfast to go, which isn't hard - plain ham sandwich, juice popper and a piece of fruit - Apple or banana) Throughout Galapagos they say if you want to pay by credit card. There's an additional 22% Tax..this is in addition to the 12% VAT Location wise, the town is small. Doesn't matter where you stay, can walk everywhere. We would not stay here again or recommend this hotel. Please note, as at 29th June 2019 there is a $10 USD per person tax to Isabela Island.”

“Everything - this hotel is amazing! I stayed in numerous hotels while I was in Galapagos and Hotel Volcano was right at the top of my list. I arrived on the first boat hours before check in was available and had one of the moat pleasant reception experiences I've ever had on any of my travels. Elizabeth (I hope I've remembered correctly) was so friendly and accomodating. She directed me to a lovely local café for breakfast and told me what I should do and see before coming back for check-in. She gave great advice and I had a gorgeous morning! And when I got back to the hotel I had been upgraded to a sea view room which was stunning. I even tried to cancel my other hotels to stay here longer but unfortunately there was no availability. Isla Isabela was my favourite island and I'm sure that's partly to because of how lovely my experience was!”

We had a Seaview room that was incredible, we loved falling asleep and waking up to waves crashing nearby and the beautiful scenery. Staff were helpful, and patient with us and our poor Spanish. Abel does speak a pretty good amount of English as well. Help was provided in finding free and cheap things to do, best places to snorkel, and scheduling an early morning taxi for the ferry. Free bananas and filtered water, coffee, and tea was a really big highlight for us. That saved us a good chunk of money seeing as we consume quite a bit of those items. Pretty well supplied kitchen was nice so we could cook or store cold items, and it was constantly being cleaned. Also a big hit- HOT HOT WATER! The shower was so hot I actually had to dial the hot water down and cold water UP. This is truly a rare find in our experience in the Galapagos. Bike rentals were available and they loaned us extra towels to take to the beach as well. 5 minute walk to town where all the restaurants are. 20 min walk to Conch de Perla for some fantastic snorkeling (go at low tide for clearer water), the path right behind the hotel leads to the Wall of tears. Maybe an hour to an hour and a half hike for that. 2 min away from the path to the flamingo lakes which leads to the tortoise reserve. Really a great location for everything. They had a beach bar in the back with hammocks, but they only set it up one day out of the 3 we were there.”
